The aim of the book is to reach out to those who would wish to be equipped with basic music literacy. They may be adults, young or older, who may or may not have learned piano or other instrument as children. Those in mind may be members of a choir or instrumental group, or parents whose children have started to learn music.
The book fosters the ability to read a melody, grasp the basics of harmony, e. g. add chords to a melody. It is envisaged that the study will lead to more confidence and competence in participation in music activities.

There is a rhythm in life. Let’s row along with this.
